  1. The story the guy in the green shirt tells about working at the the video store is amazing. The best feeling in the world is proving to yourself and other people that you are in fact more capable than they could ever imagine you to be.

Nah, who cares about other people. I wouldn’t rub it in their face. The personal success is what counts.

I agree that its about the ritual. And that the option of not doing it is a great motivator. And its true that visualisation helps. But not on its own. You have to combine all these things. All in all a good video. I liked it, even though I never heard from this guy before. Seems to be some NLP guy. Oh wells, still valid.

This video is amazing. I wonder sometimes how much better life could be with his exercises? Definitely going to have to try this, thanks for linking it!

Great video. My biggest takeaway is the power of seeing/visualising results in advance.

For instance, John talked about how he saw himself driving the Ferraris listed in car magazines. Reflecting on my own life, seeing results in advance definitely helped…

In the early days, I’d stop by estate agent windows and look at the expensive houses I’d buy after my business became successful. I was penniless, but future wealth felt inevitable, just like John described.

By my 18th birthday, I had made low five-figures from my first ebook. I was in no position to buy a house, but I went to the bank anyway to discuss a mortage. I lied that I had a large deposit to put down up front and was earning $XX,XXX/month from the business. I was wasting everyones’ time, but, again, it felt inevitable… shortly afterwards, I had my first 6-figure launch.

I’ve only just realised it, but seeing/visualising results in advance is very powerful.

  6. Awesome video.
In 2011 I started visualizing everything I thought I’d ever want in life.
By summer of 2012 I had most of it.
Envisioning your goals is one of the greatest tools in the arsenal of success (right next to starting on a project and putting in hard work).
